Grosse Pointe Strings is a full service string shop located right in the middle of the Pointes. We specialize in repair and restoration of most stringed instruments and apply classical training and old world craftsmanship to all of our work.

Repairable string instruments include violin, viola, cello, string bass, electric and acoustic guitar, ukulele, banjo, oud, mandolin, balalaika, tamuritza, bouzouki, and more. If it has strings, Warren makes it sing.

We are an appointment only shop and may be reached by phone anytime from 8am to 8pm for scheduling. We are always willing to work around your schedule; nights & weekends are not a problem.

We can address a wide range of stringed instrument related maladies and there is very little that we cannot repair. Damage that may look quite daunting can be repaired by us at a reasonable rate.
